WOW I FORGOT ABOUT THIS!!!
I completely forgot that I had even set this thing up. Someone tried posting a spam comment on here and I received an email about it. WOW>.....lets see last entry I made was back in March of 2007. At that time I was like 2 month pregnant with my TS surrogate baby.

Fast forward-----Baby Kyle was born October 12th 2007 in Sioux City, Iowa. I had a csection. My IM jan was by my side the entire time. It was the most AMAZING experience ever. I will never ever forget it. My IF Doug came on the following day. He has some work issues come up and wasn't able to be there the day of the birth.

Kyle is now 11 months old. Crazy that time has flown that fast. He is a beautiful little boy and I receive monthly updates and pictures. Its great and I know that for the rest of my life, I will have a special bond with that family. And I can stand up and be proud that I achomplished something that not many people can say they have done. Its an amazing feeling and a great experience.

In December of 2007, I decided to go on another journey! I matched almost immediately with a couple from IOWA!!! In March we headed to the clinic and the dr gave us the OK!!!

But-------a week later VT, the company I had been with for almost 3 years, fired me. They claimed I had taken off too much work, however, the main reason was the surrogacy. It was a horrible experience. One that as I sit here and type, I look back on and realize why I had to go through it.

I now work for a company in Holstein called Galva-Holstein Ag. They are great. I only work part-time which is perfect cause I get to spend tons of time with my kiddos. Damon is now in school almost full time. He goes every day in the morning. Next year, he will be totally ready for kindergarten. Lili is also now attending preschool in the afternoons 2 days a week. She really enjoys it and I can tell its helping with her social skills and her growing up.

I am on the Daycare board. We are currently trying to apply for a huge grant, one that I really hope we get so we can build a new daycare center for the kids here in Ida Grove. I know it will be hard, and a battle for sure, but I know that as a team, we can do this.

I am going to try and write every day. I know this is my surrogacy blog, but I need to be able to write every day. I have so many thoughts in my head, and I think the best thing for me, is to get them out instead of just holding on to them all.

After being home for so long, I have regained the weight I loss after having Kyle. Its hard to see it cause I know I did this to myself. However, I have now gotten myself into the mindset that life is once again back on track. So I have set goals, and know what I have to do in order to achieve them.

I hope that you all can stay in touch and read this. Comment please, I would love it! Shows that someone is paying attention anyways LOL

Journey update
Well I thought it was about time to do an update.
I will start with the surrogacy first and then update everyone on the fam as well.

Well we are now 8 1/2 weeks pregnant for J and D. they are over the moon happy and have told their family. I can't wait to be able to see the ultrasound to see how everything is doing. I am goin to record everything on DVD for them so I can mail it and they can actually see whats happening instead of just the pictures.

Ryan is doin great. They are now working 11 hour days at Gomaco and he hates it. We have finished the flooring in our dining room and are now starting on our office floor. Damon will be in his new room this weekend.

Damon had his tonsils and adnoids out on the 22nd. It was a very long weekend for all of us. I am hopefully going back to work today. He is still sleeping at this moment. HE doesn't sleep very well during the night. HE still has trouble breathing, but they say that will take a while to heal.

Lili is still not talking. She mumbles alot and says things in her own language. But only a few words will come out here and there.

Thats about all for now!!!!!!!!!

Yet another update...really great news!
Ok, so lets update everyone so far on this journey we call LIFE! As far as the last entry goes..well the couple from Boston got a BFN (big fat negative) first round of insems failed...so sorry to them! They just did second round of insems over the holidays so heres to a BFP!!!!!!!!

As far as the Georgia couple goes, well she was amazing, but things just weren't going the pace I wanted them to. I signed with an agency and they found me a GREAT couple almost instantly. So the Georgia couple and I parted ways. She was a little upset, because in a post on Yahoo groups I called her a PIP(potential Intended Parents) I use that term for anyone that I was talking to because they are potential. But like I said, I just needed things to speed up. Well the agency was perfect and they found me a couple almost instantly!

They are J and D from California. THey have three kids, but want one more but she is unable to get pregnant. So that is where I come in!!!! We hit it off instantly! She sent me a fertility monitor and currently are waiting on contracts and testing to be done so we can start! We are hoping to catch January cycle which would be in a week, but doesn't look like thats goin to happen. But thats ok, dont want to rush anything!! So we will most likely be going for the first round of insems in February. Which works perfect! They are really wonderful people! They couldn't be any more perfect for me! We talk once a week on the phone and try to email daily, if we get a chance. I just can't wait to get started!!!

Well in my life heres all whats happening:
Damon is sick yet again. The poor boy has had the flu twice in teh past 3 weeks. Plus on top of the flu he had an ear infection. He just turned three last Saturday the 23rd. He had a wonderful Buzz Lightyear themed party. He really enjoyed all of the gifts! Christmas couldn't have been any more perfect. The kids opened way TOO many gifts, and can't make up their mind which ones they want to play with! Lili is getting big. She is really chatting now, but no words execpt like mommy and daddy. Can almost say grandma and damon. She is growing up to be a little girly girl. Which is totally opposite of how I am. She loves the Disney Princesses and that's how we are decorating her room. Damon's room is goin to be typical boy, blue. He likes way too many things to make one kind of room.

Ryan is still at Gomaco. The xmas parties were great and we had a blast at the adult xmas party. I am still at VT. Just got another raise!!! Gotta love those! January 8th our lead girl will be back..and I couldn't be any more happy! I can't wait to get back to installing!!!! WEll thats about it for now!!!!

Well here we go agan
Ok so alot has happened over the last few months since I last posted. SO first I started talking with a woman from Arkansas, who at first was amazing. We really hit it off and planned an immediate meet so we could get started. We talked daily on Messenger and became quick friends. But, after a while of chatting, it seemed that everytime something came up about the surrogacy, everything changed. We couldn't agree on anything about the surrogacy from the price to the place. She wanted me to deliver in Arkansas, but that was way out of the question with work and my family. So we parted ways.

While I was chatting with her I got an email from a lady in Boston, who turned out to be perfect. They really wanted to spoil me. However, work got worse. Our lead girl went on maternity leave and left me in charge. We had a little teenybopper girl go on medical leave for 2 weeks cause she suppossedly had mono. Now shes on teh brink of getting fired and I am training a new girl on Tuesday. So, we had to postpone everything, well come to find out they actually hired a TS from Boston and they did their first round of home insems this past week so GOOD LUCK to them. I hope they get pregnant on the first try that would be amazing.

So now I am talking with a couple fom Georgia. They too seem awesome. We haven't really talked surrogacy yet, not rushing into it. I don't want to be preggo over holiday seasons especially next year, so it either has to happen now or wait until the time limit passes. Well thats about all for now!

Starting Over
Ok, so first downhill event in my journey. So the last two weeks, the couple I was talking to suddenly emailed less and seemed like they were way too busy to even let me know what they felt about the contract I sent. We had a big meet planned this Saturday. Then on Wednesday she emails me and says shes sick and wont be there. Big Bummer!!

Well then I emailed her back and said let me know how your dr appt went so we can make other plans. And no email for 2 days. Then I email her back and tell her that I would rather work with someone a little closer to me and that communication is THE KEY for me. If they can't write me now, whats is goin to be like when the baby is here.

So I am on adventure number 2 looking for IP's. I have a couple of people I am talking too, but I'm not jumping into this like I did the last time. I want to make sure I find someone special to help. But I am still hoping to get contracts done by end of October so we can begin insems in November or December!
Well that's all for now!

Just starting out in my journey.
Ok so I am just starting out in my journey of surrogacy. I am currently talking to two potential couples. One is from Texas and we are clicking really well. The other couple is from Louisana and we haven't had much of chance to talk. Both are interested in me being a traditional surrogate, which I am thrilled about. I have my contract started. I can't wait to get into this whole process. I talked to my doctor yesterday and he said that I am ready to be preggo again. He said there should be no problems as long as I do not go into labor at all. Anyways, thats about all for today. I will let you all know what happens in the next few days when I make my decision on what to do!!!
